I will be getting some money to spend soon and I will be buying a new mobo but I have no idea which one to get or if I should wait for the XP333 or another board.
Please post your suggestions of which mobo I should get or wait for.
Price doesnt matter and I will most likely want RAID for the extra channels.
Main thing I want from the board is overclockability.
Im thinking the Epox 8KHA+ but im not completely sure about it.
Thanks.

The MSI K7T266 Pro2-RU is putting up some very good numbers. Newegg will have them on the 1st Nov. for $135. I'd wait to see how well the XP333 performs first though......... :)

Boy, right now is a tough time to make a call on a new mobo. The Asus A7V266-E, Asus A7N, Abit KR7, plus the XP333 should all be out by Xmas. From the few reviews out there, no definitive answer can be reached yet, I guess it comes down to how long you want to wait.

I was thinking of getting the MSI K7T266 Pro2-RU (what a beauty mmm red pcb) but in its reviews it didnt do as good at the Epox did in the overclocking area, the Pro is more for the features not for overclocking...and overclocking ability is my main focus right now.

I posted a review of the Asus E board & the XP333 in their respective sections tonight Miller, check em out. They are both from German sites so it shouldn't be too much longer for us.

Thanks for the links Zam but I cant view them right now...schools security app wont let me view german sites for some reason. :(
I guess ill wait then, I really cant stand my chip being underclocked 500mhz that just hurts. Also its a pain having to plug in a fan every time you want to boot or reboot your comp because of rpm sensors.
Ohwell ill deal with this board for a month or two and then I will be happy with the latest and greatest! :)

Good for you miller, you show some very mature self-discipline.:) You put me to shame, I get a few bucks in my hot little hand and I can't wait to blow it, and usually I am sorry for not waiting.:(

That's a definable option in the BIOS to turn off that feature bro!

Yes it is...in a feature version of BIOS for the KT7 im currently using WW and I can't flash to a newer better version for some really strange reason, any time I try to it just sits there and does absolutly nothing. I think I messed my BIOS chip up when using the windows version of a BIOS flash utility and rebooting half way through. I know I know not smart but this was when I first started building computers. :)
Welp whats a suggestion for what to get between the newer boards comming out? Iwill XP333? Asus? Other?
Im clueless! :sarcastic

I'd go with the MSI K7T266 Pro2 also. Current using the freebie K7T266, it's just a pleasure to work with. Contrary to what people said, position of the ATX connector on the mobo is perfect IMO. BIOS is excellent, everythingcan be automated, or switch to manual, including OC options of course. It's also very stable compare to Abit boards. If don't like flashing BIOS in DOS mode (still my cup of tea when it comes to updating BIOS), MIS has a WIN base program that connects to their server for update. Very cool. As always, if you can't wait, just get it from NewEgg, test it out for a week and return the sucker if you don't like it. Just remember to come up with a reasonable explanation like: "Dude, I was going to buy your more expensive motherboard, but the damn browser messed up my order. Once the product's RMAed, and I get my credit, I'll order the more expensive alternative." SOB, can't believe I gave you my secret return without hassle paragraph.:D
