Man, what the hell are you feeding the RAM? Speed? It's shrinking the RAM rating!:D
Yeah, gotta agree with you man, the UD rating system fluctuates so much, it's not even funny.

nop.... just good old 133mhz fsb stoney...... thats all......
i also dont like the way the nic's are scored..... i'm using pretty much the same card as their reference in the t-bird, and i'm getting :

btw... just in case the figures dont compute, the first screen was taken from evil no. 2 (duron 800 on K7SEM), and the second from evil no.1 (1400 t-bird on kg7-r)

Martz my man, only two words for their rating system - total bollocks :)
I've had everything from 32 to something stupid like 340. Mostly it's about 82.
This from my current protein, 1.2 T-Bird @ 1.32, 256MB Crucial 133 CAS 2:

Martz...did you just upgrade your RAM on that Duron? I have never seen UD phuck up on Storage or Memory ratings. Upon the next connection to the server, your score should correct itself. Now as for the CPU and Network rating...well that thing changes like its going out of style :)
Here's my memory rating:

It is annoying bordering on crap, isn't it - but it does settle down after time - but I don't really take much notice of it, especialy as Team PC measures placement by results rather than points.

It does look like UD is aware of the HD and Memory problem...
Large disk and memory sizes may cause wrapping

Good find IA, as Martz has over a gig of RAM don't your Martz?
Still doesn't realy matter anyway, as you said in you first post, though I came to the conclusion the proggy was a bit crap like that anyway - as long as it retuns the results it dosn't matter, after all it's not supposed to be a benchmark tool, even though in a small way it's trying to be a simple one for point allocation.
It would probably easier if they got rid of that side altogether and just concentrated on results. I wonder if Intel has found it has been getting people to buy any of their products....hint, hint IA and his Intel nic ( just gentle fun ribbing IA :) )

hehe skamp, mabey Intel is trying to tell us something;), btw mabey it's because your P3 kicks the tar out of the Pee 4. The only thing I found that fluctuates alot is my CPU and my network adapter points. I have a netgear 10/100 and it goes from 34 points to 100.CPU is about a 220 point swing. I just think that's funny on how sometimes my total is 125+ and sometimes it's under 100. (BTW I have been running it at 1.4 for quite a while, so it isn't me touching the computer.)
