It's called Trillian. It handles all the popular IM on the market, so can chat with multiple buddies on different platforms at the same time. I'm loving it.

Thumbs up from the Cheap Ass also. I've been using Trillian for over 6 months now and it rocks the boat. Clean interface, tons of skins, and AD-FREE.

They have a new version 0.70 just released which provides new features such as supporting file transfers in ICQ.

I do have to say I like the interface on the previous version though...it looked cleaner to me then the new one, but hey you can just apply the skin of your choosing :)
