ok, i am running win98se on my c****q machine,
and everytime i boot it up and try to play music it stalls alot, then explorer crashes and when that happens it runs better than ever?
what would that be? a sign tellin me to either upgrade or get athlon???

do you have all of the critical updates and driver updates at ms, they do fix a bug or two, if your not up to date, give it a shot.

If you're a Win9x user switching to the NT Kernel, you'd be much better off going to WinXP. It's a wonderful OS.. Best Microsoft has produced!

hey my 98se machines run smooth as silk, aside from a memory hole which means that i have to reboot em every 4 days, they work great, i know i knkow, i'll be moving out of the 9x enviroment soon, but i'm keeping dual boot, play all my old shit on 98se :) lurch

skamp this happened after i reinstalled it, and it keeps happening, and yep lurch i do have all the updates m8....i dunno...it is doing my head in i might just upgrade it to xp or something coz its running too slow..it has a terrible lagg now as i type...has me confused.????
i'll price the xp cd.....music is f**king skipping......ahh........!!!!!
