If I read this right your still using your old ISP mail server correct? If so than the pop up is server side and you cant lose it.
If I read it wrong and its is popping up when you open up your Outlook Express program, even after changing the settings to reflect the new ISP mail server than its in OE. Save address book elsewhere and uninstall. than reinstall OE. This should do it. I know my OE did that if I used the version from Roadrunner. I ahve since just gotten the pure MS version and dont have that problem anymore.

thank u, Heretic. yes, u read it wrong, meaning ur 2nd interpretation is correct, so to speak! yes, settings have been changed/deleted; - just didn't seem to solve the problem. i'm new at this, and 'uninstalling' and 'reinstalling' unsettles me! i DO have my address book on my Desktop, as i was im/exporting to/from different em a/cs. is it safe there? - during the uninstall, i mean?
Hey, James, Tvillage! thanks for the welcome. :rotate:

address book should be ok on desktop. Now once you uninstall shut down the machine and restart. Than do the reinstall.
good luck
