Overclockers Online (http://www.overclockersonline.com/) have posted a review of the Vantec Stealth Fans (http://www.overclockersonline.com/index.php?page=articles&num=131) . Case cooling is very important, but most of the time people ignore it because they don't like the additional noise that comes with it. They present you the Vantec Stealth Fan, a new kind of fan that increases cooling without increasing the noise!

"It's ok to install those high rpm fans, spinning at approximately 8,000rpm, but having a few of those in your room all day long will drive you nuts in the long run. Vantec's engineers were aware of this problem and they decided to take care of it: the Vantec ultra quiet Stealthfans were born! Are they really as silent as the box tries to tell us? What about airflow? Only one way to find out, and that's the OČ-way

A very nice link there indeed Zammy. I'd like to order four 80mm & one 92mm please, to replace my five x 80mm :)

I wonder if there are any UK stockists?

They were more than a little buried on the vantec site Flops but these were the only 2 links for Europe that were listed.

Thanks for that Zammy :) I've used theoverclockingstore before, they're good, but they're not stocking the Vantecs yet, I'll contact them and ask when they'll have them in stock.

As for overclockmania, I think it's an Italian site, I can't understand a damn word :O

I'm using 3 Evercools atm, they shift 29CFM but I can definitely hear them. Also using the two stock Antec 80mm's that came with my 1030 case for the exhaust. They're virtually silent but very inneffective.

I definitely fancy trying them Vantecs.

Hey guys,

Here's (http://www.gizzo.8m.com/fans/index.html) a good fan resource page that I always use. t's sortable by cfm or dba. Looks like the 80mm PCP&C fan is a little better at 20dba and 28cfm. Might be a little harder to find though. I have a Sanyo Denki at 23cfm and 29dba and it's pretty quiet. I can only imagine what there guys are like.

Flops,
The stock Antec fans are rebadged YS tech fans ( think). If you want to find out what specs they are, pull the Antec sticker off and see what you really got :D.

hey guys whatever happened to that YS Tech fan which moved the motor to the outer portion of the fan housing so it erases the dead air in the middle? that was something that caught my eye....
