I've almost placed an order for the AG Neovo X-174 LCD. So tempting. And it's only $929. Guess I could live on noodles and pay off the credit card bill in two installments. Must resist.

In the first part of this review, we examined six monitors in close detail. We tested products from ADI, Compaq, CTX, NEOVO, Philips and Solarism. They are based on a variety of technologies, including TN + Film, IPS, and MVA. We especially spent a lot of time studying the ergonomics of the various models, real-time response, and the color spectrum-not forgetting the technical improvements that are expected by the end of the year.

I know what you mean Stone, I've been hankering after an lcd screen for a couple of months now. Either a 17" or 18" should be on my desktop by the end of the year I hope. Pretty decent article but I would have liked to see a Samsung thrown in, that's what I'm leaning for at the moment.

What threw me off guard was the comments, or lack of, given to the Neovo LCD. A lot of people said it's one of the best out there, yet the reviewer here said it's crap. Hell even mango checked it out at Fry's/CompUSA and said it's good. What gives? The reviewer got a bad unit?

I really want one, just can't justify spending any more on my hobby at this point. I could kick myself for choosing a 19" monitor that I can barely move when I gave myself this latest computer for Christmas. I'll get there and when I do you guys will be full of good advice for me.:)
