Looks like smooth sailing with MS's 64 bit support.
Hampered by the fabrication process and architecture, AMD’s K7-core processors have had difficulty competing with Intel’s P4s in both the OEM and clone markets. Now, AMD hopes to gain more strength for the competition with the higher specifications offered by the new K8 processors.
