Toshiba executive Steve Vrablik told NewsFactor the new 8.4-inch display prototype can be flexed in all directions and bent to form a curve. The flexibility of the display increases its resistance to shock. The development brings Toshiba closer to its long-term goal of developing foldable LCDs.
