All the parts are in, the time is right, so lets get right down to it!

I have the project "build" parts laid out to the right. Make Sure that you have at least the parts showing in the picture to the right, before starting your build. These basic parts are;

Motherboard, accompanying manual, and cables
CPU - in this case AMD 1.4 266FSB
HeatSinkFan
Thermal Paste
Memory
Floppy disk Drive
Video Card - In this case ATI 32M Radeon
ONE HDD
CD-R/RW type drive(DVD ok too)
Floppy Drive cable
CD-R/RW Drive Cable
IDE cables (in this case rounded cables)
ATX Case
Power Supply

It's also a good idea to have your software solutions arranged by this point. Know the operating system that you are going to install, and make sure you have boot disks, or bootable CD's to work from. You can use your existing computer to test these resources, without actually using them. Also, if you haven't done it yet, take an hour and read thru the motherboard guide that was provided with the motherboard. It may provide you with special cicumstances indeginous to that board that deviate from these examples. If you didnt get a guide, we reccomend you go to the vendors website and see if a downloadable one is available. It may be very difficult to succeed if you do not have the manufactuers information on the motherboard.
