My ancient KT7A is running out of steam and running too hot on UD. I am Presently thinking of an upgrade. Since there are lots of motherboards out there for less than $100, I wish to have some input for upgrading. List the under $100 boards you guys like.

ECS K7S5A- sd and ddr ram, good performer, but no overclocking, decent board for the lowest price.

Shuttle AK35GT2 KT333, DDR Only, Cmedia 6.1, tons of overclocking all in BIOS - $73 Newegg $95 with HPT RAID

If you need SDR, then Prod's choice is a good one.

Good options from everyone, I will have to research these to see which is best for me. More options, opinions are welcome.

Darn, Dramen I might have to drink domestic beer for two weeks to raise the extra $5.

MSI KT3 Ultra (no raid) @ newegg.com

Never had prob w/ MSI mobos (though I only have 2, 266 and 266A). It isn't as agreesive in terms of OCing as Abit, but I also don't have to update my BIOS every week like the Abit users.

Oh yeah, Newegg's having a sale on ECS K7S5A SiSŪ 735 $54 no shipping. I heard it's pretty good if you don't OC.

Yeah pretty much , I cant finish 3d mark at that speed but I think its my video card , it usually makes it through the first 3-5 test then crashes to desktop with a "3d mark lost focus" error , but at that speed my agp is running way outta spec.

I can run quake though and get around 260 fps in the fastest setting.
