Yeah I read that too. It has do wtih the large amount of space (200GB). It requires you to either load a special driver supplied from WD or use XP SP1 which has it built in.
Can u imagine the defrag time of that beast.

I currently have:
4 X Maxtor 80GB 7200RPM ATA 100
2 X Fujitsu 20GB 5400RPM ATA 66
1 X WD 120GB 7200 RPM ATA 133

I'm getting two more Maxtor 80GB's for the new system I'm working on.

No, you can never have enough HDs. Having more HDs is better than buying 500 CD blanks like me. Man, I hate flipping around for the photos I want. Just get a 2 mobile racks + mobile tray for each addition HDs you have, and BAM, instant solution.

I almost filled up my 40Gb once, had about 36Gb used up - lots & lots of Games loaded with lots of save files.
atm Diskeeper 7 tells me I have 51% free.
Just got a shiny new maxtor 80gig D740x with fluid bearings. There goes my upgrade budget for the next 2 years :)
Along with that in my main machine is the maxtor 10gig that kept giving me bluescreen I/O errors, hence the new drive.
In my son's k62 I have the 1 gig seagate.
In the P133 I have a quantum 3.2 gig.
Will be switching those 2 and reinstalling everything whenever I get around to it.
In the drawer beside me I have a dead maxtor 540meg that I threaten to throw at people when they piss me off :)
And where is the "none" option? I got an XT with twin 5 1/4 floppys and the VIC-20 with tape drive.

As far as drives are concerned I have 22 installed over 4 PC's on my home network. I have roughly 1.5 terabytes of space most of it filled though.
