I just finished building a new machine with the asus P4B533 MB with a 2.53Ghz p4 . Belarc shows everything but my bus clock speed shows as 133Mhz. I thought this proccessor had a clock speed of 500 fsb. If so where do I change it? As you can probably tell I am a newbie to this sort of thing so would appreciate any good advice from those that know. Everyone says this is the place to go since PC911 is shutting down.

Everything is fine.

It is quad pumped. 4 x 133 = 533 MHz. Sounds like a great system.

So, how do you like it, and what was your last system. Problaby a huge jump in performance, eh?

Okay thanks everyone. I love this sucker it screams. My old system which now belongs to (she who controls the pc budget )was a Dell dimension with intel 866.

If I'm out of line tell me to STFU, but are you planning on joining our United Devices Team with that monster machine?

Have already done so. Started looking for a new home when the sad news was posted at PC911. Got to have my daily fixes of PC forums and UD crunching comraderie. I think BitBenders will fill both needs.
Have 3 machines running UD and will hopefully add another old Dell as soon as I get it back up and running.
