ATI Trade-Up Program
Wondering how much they'll give for various cards.
It looks like you have to trust them. I'd like to know in advance, myself.
Still, I thought I'd share this in case someone might be interested.

Not worth it:
https://apps.ati.com/trade-up/
You get charged the trade-in price + security on the form and are credited the deposit once you return your card.

So it's better just to get a new one?

I don't understand how it works. If I send em my gainward gf4 ti 4600 golden sample, whats it going to cost me for a radeon 9700 pro?

$399 up front................$349 final cost............the $50 deposit will be returned once your card is received at ATI. It's $342 at Newegg, so it's not worth it.
If you're serious, buy the 9700 Pro and sell your card.

I agree with 0-60, more hassle then its worth especially since online resellers are selling the exact same card for the final price anyway. And Im willing to bet it will hit $299 in about a month.
Considering some of the AGP 8X probs creeping up, patience is a virtue here.
