I love garlic, next is basil. oh, you mean seasons of the year. Autumn, love the colors of the leaves and cooler temps after a hot summer. The smell of hickory burning in a fireplace...Thanksgiving... it's just a nice time of year.

Fall.

Raised it Iowa. 3 yrs France. 20+ yrs Minnesota. Border to border, coast to coast driving.

Fall always is a suprise because of the color montage everywhere you go.

Thank God its finally cooled down here in Houston! Love Texas. Hate the oppressive heat (90°+) of summer though. Had a local weatherman state that 58° was "cold".

Yeah, right! In the Amazon delta maybe.

Heh, thats cold here, though in the winter we do have a few days where it barely breaks 30F and the lows are in the low teens (record low is like 5F) and thats pretty damn cold for florida.

Gotta be Spring :)

Days getting longer, new flowers, green leaves on the trees and everybody feels frisky :D

And it means Summer's just around the corner.

And I hate Winter.

SPRING!

As beautiful,as fall is here in the NE,I prefer the burst of new growth and the awakening of the original settlers of this portion of the planet.

Love the cooler temps after a HORRIBLE Muggy humid BLECH summer (can ya tell summer is NOT my fav season?)
I like cool temps anyways, that along with scenery I just love it :)
Fall is one of the FEW times I don't mind living down here in VA, cause I can drive an hour west to skyline drive in the mountains for a nice drive :)
not to mention fall leads to.... WINTER!! woohoo!
Not enough snow down here though :(
Not to mention the complete morons that go 5mph with trace amounts of snow
Thats when I want to go back home to Michigan :)

I voted fall because after all the years in Ohio, fall meant vacation time and good hiking out west. The vacation spots weren't as crowded and the weather is great. I can't comment about Fla yet but our summer was great here, 90's and the beach, can't be beat.

w00t! Spring for me! :) means the dreaded cold, gray, stark weather, and the icey, dirty snow of city streets is g-o-n-e; luv the "fresh breath of Spring" - a rebirth of all of nature. :) birds singin' anew ( i just :dunno: how those little birdies make it thru the winter); blossoms start to bloom and all's well w/the world. oh y, Spring's for me and that too, means the warmer days of summer! :joy:

hehe, Spez - u and ur bikinis! lol. ;)

hmm, the last 4 year on the memories associated with seasons, spring, ah, spring clean ups, muddy wet, dirt, cleaning out houses acrude winter mess, summer, yay, blistering pass out heat, poison ivy, sun burns, fall, bagging over 100 bags of leaves a day, needing a dust mask to stop all of the dried leaf dust, which still made you choke on your own flem, and oh yeah, why is my snot black, winter, look its snowing, 14 hours of back breaking shoveling, here i come, um, at this point i'm looking foward to an office, a chair and climate control, raining days arent' to quaint while pushing a mower up a wet hill wearing an 80 gal garbage bag for a rain coat, snow isn't so wonderful when you have to move 100's of pounds of it, same goes for leaves :) lurch

be nice to your landscaper, he doesn't just work outside on nice sunny days while your trapped in the office, we pick up leaves and cut grass and fall cleanups till december 15th. its cold, its rainy it sucks.

be nicer to your gargbage man and mail man its year round for them. :)

I'm with Spezi on this :) Summer!! :) - Summers generally aren't too hot in the UK, but u have all the ladies walking around in short Summer skirts, hazy Summer days in the country, picnics, sailing, those long Summer eveingings where it doesn't get dark till 10pm, and light at 4:30am, leaves on the trees, birds singing, Cricket on the green and a drink in the pub afterwards.....

well the commas are just something that i picked up in my time of talking and posting online, basically i use a lot of time online and i don't want to spend any more time making sure i use the queen's english, i don't slow down to hit shift, use periods or anything like that, they words just sort of flow onto the screen, i used to not slow down for misspelled words but somewhere along the way i started to work on that, but basically it helps use less time online, as far as what season i liked the best, well basically, i have 4 years of hard backbreaking work associated with all of the seasons, so when its spring i think, great spring cleanups, when its summer, heat exhaustion and poison ivy, in the fall the leaves fall down and i clean em up, and in the winter move all the snow, so right now i sorta hate em all, i look at that stuff as looking at the job, i see a house with leaves i'm counting how many bags there are in my head, how many bags of seed to cover that lawn, how many yards of stone to do a driveway job, stuff like that, i've been outside enough i can smell bad weather coming, i've called it a few times while it was still sunny out, but its the type of stuff you get i guess when getting a lot of experience at any job, just that that is not the job i want to have experience in, thinking about how midweek weather is gowing to effect grass growth and how hard the weekend work is going to be, and since i've quit, i've let my grandparents and parents houses go on grass cutting, but they don't mind so much since i'm studying, oh well, well sure get a full answer darcy when you ask a question :) lurch
