Setting Up FTP Access to with Wsftp_Pro

OK, folks, it seems that we needs some "visuals" here.

What I use for FTP access to the rack is WS_FTP. It costs about 30 bucks, us. Get it, aor another, your choice. The instructions below are for WS_FTP. I tried several, and for me, this one worked the best. Here goes.


Setting up WS_FTP

Once you have the FTP package installed, launch it, and create a new session (The first time, WS_FTP will not give you a choice)

Click on "Create Site". The new "Create Site" box comes up next;

Give your session a name, and click NEXT

Don't enter the IP address as shown in this frame .. Enter the IP address YOU are trying to connect to
, Then Click NEXT

Enter Your Username as alakazam@bitbenderforums.com (your user name ! ) And, enter your password. Then, Click NEXT!

CLICK NEXT with These Settings as defaults!

Thats it!! All you need to do now is click the CONNECT button!
