GotApex has reviewed both the Abit KD7-R and Shuttle AK37GTR motherboards featuring the KT400 chipset.

I am a pretty picky person when considering board features and layout. To me, the less routing I have to do with cables, the better. Previously, the difference between the Shuttle and Abit boards was night and day. Both the 12v and ATX power connectors were positioned poorly in the Abit in the Sis648 board comparison. Conversely, the Shuttle board had very good power connector layout with both connectors placed at the top of the board, no routing power cables for this board
