Radeon Catalyst 3.2 drivers

I've been seeing reports that these are really designed for the R350 based cards such as the 9600 and 9800 series cards and that there really isn't a boost to the R300 cards such as the 9500 and 9700 series cards

I usually just get the drivers. Does the control panel have anything worth while??

I really didn't get any performance increase, maybe 50 points in 3dmark 2k1se which could just be from having less RAM being used. The control panel seems a bit more developed and featured though.
