Looks like the Klipsch ProMedia series of speakers finally have a worthy competitor on the market; enter the new Cambridge MegaWorks 210D and 510D (2.1 & 5.1), priced at $299 and $399. Have a read and decide if they are worthy of the price claimed. Remember, MegaWorks and ProMedia have very similar features in terms of RMS and power management.

they look good and seem to have a lot of power, but for my next sound system i want something that can drop a hit frequencies a little bit lower, and also higher on the high range too, maybe i'll just go to australia and boost skamp's hi-fi, if he doesn't kill me on the way out, but even though its big money, i bet they sound wonderful, and thats alot of power to wake the neighbors, that is always fun, lurch

I think the Klipsch's look better :)

But in all honesty, I think computer speakers are a waste of money if you have the ability to hook up your rig to your home stereo. That's what I do.

A pair of JBL S328 will certainly blow the expensive multimedia speakers away. Couldn't agree with you more on that one IA.
