Well, looks like somebody got their hands on an Audigy. Comes in three flavors, Player, Platinum w/ Int. drive, and Platinum w/ Ext. drive. Tempting.

Yeah, there doesn't seem to be many changes or benefits the Audigy has over Live. I'd stick with whatever sound card you have right now unless you're using one of them Yamaha Ensonique $20 sound cards.

I have always maintained the Philips Acoustic Edge is your best value for a full featured 5.1 Digital Sound Card. Nothing can come close...I've heard them all.

Word. Tried hooking 3 pairs of Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 to AE, and you'll be rocking your neighbor's world.:D

BTW, still having problem with AE with the KT7-R board w/ W2K. My guess is the VIA problem. Oh well, it only crack and pops when the HD's running. So I'll just have compromise until I have the cheddar to get a new board. Good day gentlemen.

i just got one of those abit au10 cards..
the ones that come with a remote..

as soon as i get "another" set of speakers (preferably a set of 6) i'll let ya's know how it stands up..

shweeet..
nice and clean..
no conflicts..and sounds beauty with the SP50's
(now just gotta find the time to play around with the siluro64 a bit..)

me likes my abit..hmmm..wonder if they make a case..:D
