For those who are perfectionists these should be adequate no matter what type of music he or she listens to.

The Grand Enigma System - one of the largest and most exclusive high-end consumer loudspeakers ever made.

This 12 ton system is fully active with 30kW of amplification, equipped with 24 ultrahigh efficiency planar-magnetic HF-units, 24 15-inch LF drivers and 48 6-inch MF drivers. Placed in a specially prepared subterranean listening room of 45,000 cubic feet, it presents sound with incredible dynamics and limitless power, easily reproducing live concert levels at a distance of 10 meters.

Take a look!!

I say Dayem, yo Flops...you wanna pitch in so we can use this baby on our next gigs :)

I wonder who buys this kind of thing Quad. I mean you would need some room to house that thing in or else you could never listen to how it really should sound.

BTW...what sort of speakers do you have my friend?

Holy Crap Batman, I'm deaf!!! I would love to give that system a listen to but that will never happen. I can just imagine some low bass organ tones on the LF and what would happen to the neighbor's walls, hehehe.

Guys I know you all want to give it a listen but don't worry we have James here who already said that he wants it. Lets keep our fingers crossed and hope one day all from BBF would be invited over to James for a concert!!!!:D :D :D

IA, I am basically using Magneplanars as my main system and Missions as secondary system. For critical monitoring and while I need to write a review of a CD I use the Sennheiser HD 580 Precisions. That just about sums up my transducer range.

I'm sorry, but how often do you get the chance of turning this baby to full volume (one time, after which you'll be deaf), and where the hell are you gonna put it.

EV systems X-Array. Ya dont need to be in some cave to listen to it. costs about 1/4 of that price and doesnt weigh as much nor need that amoutn of amps to sound as loud and as clear.

That system if it is ever sold to someone is one hell of a rip off. The salesman who sells it to you better offer some Vaseline to with it.

Sorry but I jsut cant see the reason at all for this system.
