checked one out today, thought the retro look was  .
- with the look and feel of a 45-rpm record—right down to the ridges on the playing area and the label in the center— the 80-minute Verbatim Digital Vinyl CD-R discs will spin you back to the 20th century. u'll wish there were blank spaces so you could write on the label, but the five groovy :) tints help you color-code your music.
"The color-coded discs use Verbatim’s original Azo Blue technology for superior audio writing performance on CD burners and broad read compatibility on car CD players, home audio systems and portable CD players."
Recommended recording speeds for Digital Vinyl CD-R are 16x, 12x, 8x, 4x, 1x.
Digital Vinyl CD-R's are only compatible for music recording on computer recorders.
10-pack w/cases about $13. www.verbatim.com
not cheap, but great as a gift for that audio nut who is always d/l-ing and burning tunes to CDs.
