Seems kind of odd to want to do that, since i don't really ever notice UD apart from the pill in y taskbar. And you seem to have less control over the agent in that way.

Its suited for public computers where you don't want to have people access to the Blue Pill.

If I can get this to work on Win98 machines, I can sneak it on the computers at work :)

I'll see if I can figure out the registry info to add. Won't be much, but we got 2 800mhz Duron's that would be a heck of a boost to my score :)

I might have to do this at my new job since I don't have nearly the wealth of computers at my disposal as I did at my old job...but I think I have to get a feel for my new workplace first before loading up more panty chasers for the team :)

Not sure if that is possible JB...since I don't believe you can run things as a service in Win9x?? If I am wrong someone please correct me.

Did you try search the UD forum for "service" and "win98"? Sorry have been busy of late (new job) and haven't had time to search for ya :(

I ended up installing on work computers today. Made it a scheduled event that kicks on after 20 minutes of computer idle (monitors turn off after 15 mins of idle, so no one sees the icon). Event is ended as soon as computer becomes un-idle. Thus meanig it runs all night and whenever the computer isn't in use :) And no one ever sees that's its there.

I love being the sole IT worker of the office.

Good one JB! You gonna start rising up the team ranks again!

Just want to be sure you not gonna get in trouble though.

I spend the majority of my time showing people "How do I reboot my computer?" and "Why isn't my printer working?"....

I doubt anyone would ever know it's installed.

But I have full access and privilage to all machines in the office. Any software I install is completly okay with the boss.

Sometimes 2k is a pain, need admin rights to install the deamon so i can't run UD as a service therefore can't hide the fact tat it's instaled. :grr:

And i aint runing the risk of being caught in my last year of uni.
