"ZeroPaid has a fascinating roundup of news stories surrounding the latest surveillance laws passed in India (http://www.zeropaid.com/news/9937/Blogger+Writes+from+Inside+the+Newest+Police+State+on+the+Planet), including a first-hand account (http://www.countercurrents.org/karun020109.htm) of someone writing from inside India. The legislation in question is the Information Technology Act's amendment bill 2006 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Information_Technology_Act), which was recently passed in the Indian parliament. Things you can't do with the new legislation include surfing for news in Bollywood and looking up porn on the internet. The legislation also allows all transmissions over the internet to be monitored for any form of lawbreaking and permits a sub-inspector to break into your house to make sure you aren't browsing porn on your computer."

:wtf: :wha:

Their country, their rules... None of my concern...

World will be a better place if "other countries" would stop telling peeps how to run their shit...

And if'n you think no one is watching what you do, start pulling searches for how-to's on bomb making or young pornography... See how long it takes the black suites to come knocking on your door.

You what?

Consider, Sir, your nation of residence before uttering that ;)

I wasn't excluding this country from the statement mate...

It's gotta be THE WORST for sticking it's nose (And other parts) in places it shouldn't.

This here government needs to worry more about taking care of it's internal problems.
