Lavasoft can kiss my ass... when some malware company threatens to sue them, they'll simply remove it from detection. They've done it in the past and I'll not give them the steam from my shit, ever again. They also don't do things like remove policies from the registry, in case some "system administrator" set them.
I don't trust the software, and therefore it is a waste of my time. It's certainly not going to find things that are missed by Malwarebytes, Superantispyware and Spybot Search and Destroy (that doesn't care at all for politics... it'll remove even legit nuisance software if there's a reason to)

This one is NOT a BBF Best Practices choice.. Unless you want Malware :D

What is really needed, is to make malware obsolete, even in a Windows environment. Not impossible. GIGO. I use SBSD/ AD-AW and my AV anti spyware scanner and they all seem to conflict with each other in one way small or other. But, if they don't get the shit, then I guess nothing will. All three are rated to be the best and one isn't Symantic or Mcafee bullshit. :dunno:
I quit using ad aware a couple of years ago and never regretted it.
Same goes for Zone Alarm.

Aye, zone alarm ... I grew up and started using the firewall in my router. No bitching and whining, no false activity indications from internal traffic and no more nagging me to pay for their latest all-in-one product. Good riddance!

Oh I couldn't agree more. The day when everyone realizes this will soon be here...and then they will be gone.

Yes, one touch of their lips on my ass and they will be gone. :-)
