Damn, you gave me a freaking heartattack there. Looks like I'll have to shell out for the $800 system after all. You bastard, I'll be seeing you after I hook up my XP2000+ system... Think you got the shit? Bring it. :brutal:

I think we may have to turn our machines back on, 911 are getting a little "cocky".

well I am having a bugger of a time to get all the results for the last few days to update our little "race" but did you beat our days results?????? AmStoned that is tommorow and I have everything after Fed sex stops by.........if we want to do a point war, I will hook up my 2 486 dx-33's up. BTW we are letting you win, for now. When all is said and done and we slam the door so hard on you that it rattles your fillings out, then you will know what the Team PC steamroller feels like:joy:

what happened anyways I though you would show me yours and I would show you mine Vserl

Cool I hear ya about laying out the dough!!

I'm in the final stages of building my latest right now. Had to RMA the mainboard, but my supplier is cross-shipping me a new one.

    KR7A-133
    Antec 400watt PP412X ps
    1 gig of PC2100 Crucial
    1 20 gig Maxtor ATA133 HDD
    1 40 gig " " "
    ThermalRight SK-6
    and a few other goodies

The friggin $$ add up, but if you can't spend yourself on your passion, then what kind of a passion is that.

Will be "burning in" ( )a friend's new 1.33 GHz TBird while he gets his act together and buys the rest of HIS stuff.
Waiting for the XP1900+ to hit $180 ( now at 187 ), then I buy.
Will be overclocking the piss out of it.

This will be the third straight Abit I've used and first DDR system. Love my KT7A- R, it is my main machine. But had to build this machine, the itch has set in.

On the rivalry front, you guys don't really need to worry about us that much, we don't have that many extremists with outrageous machines. It is that horde that is thunderin' up our backsides that you need to watch out for. Ex Mad Cows, and a few others. Ex Mad Cows are pounding out 70-75K points a day. Are # 92, will be ripping through the 80's soon.

Want to thank Muckshifter one more time, for giving us a rallying point. You guys are definitely a spirited lot. Keeps it interesting.

    Hasta,
    Scott

money and lack of space add up. It all started when a good man named Boola on a now defunct team that I was on started talking smack. well I couldn't have any of that, so I went from 400 K6-2400 and one slot 800@1000 to another, then another and then DragonAce came along talking some serious smack(and he could really back it up, closed in from behind on me really fast and I had to do some upgrades in a hurry) and then I came over to this team. Since I have been here, I have never felt more at home, both at this team and at this forum.:rollout:

BTW I won't have to worry much about your newsystem. When it locks up and crashes everynight from Abititis .

Doh I have a backup plan, stiffone.

Just ordered the 512 stick, that basically gives me an extra 256 MB, as I already had 2 256 Mb sticks. That extra 256 is a down payment on the system to follow this one.

Been thinking of putting a lean, second new system together.
LOL, that Abit board did have to go back after all, something was wrong with the PCI bus, so I never really had it up and running all the way. But once I've gotten any of my Abit boards up and running, they have never given me a lick of problems. I know others have, I read and hear about it all the time, but, I guess I can thank the PCB Gods it hasn't happened to me. That fricking BP6 has been runnning at 551(366) forever. Never even farts. Course it might be the frickin monster case or the nine fans. Or maybe it is the Intel chips ( :-( ) LOL.

What board are you gonna be using with your XP2000+ machine, and why?

An enemy ( in the rivalry),

    grimace stiffone,how many ...

friggin points do you put up in a day with that menagerie of yours, anyway? Must be a ton. I'm doing ok, averaging between 1600-2200 daily but with all those machines you must easily be hitting 3,000.

MSI K7T266 PRO2 and the reason I got it was stability and the right price. I have heard great things about it and this is my first DDR rig, and I wanted a good experiance. I will be putting it into my case with the plexiglass side, and I do like the red color scheme. I was deciding on a few others and I was thinking about SMP. but in the end, I waited to long for manufactures to put out "almost ready" motherboards.
Lean second system....................don't do it, well you can but then the second turns into a third and so on and so forth. I am lucky becuse my wife is cool with it and also I pay the electric bill

BTW you don't have to be a rival, just join us and fly to the top 50 with us

23-2400 points, with 20 resutls returned. Haveing mostly thunderbirds hurt my points returned, but that is the price you pay for getting thunderbirds.

"don't do it" heh, already have three of my own online ( online)

no wife here, my house, my electric bill, no kids. And i like these toys.

I'm not sure I understand what you were saying about TBirds. Are you saying they don't crunch numbers well? As opposed to...?
I'm still learning, want to understand.

Hehe...Enemy of the State I do think that's a good moniker for your team

And god damn I say we did get slapped around silly yesterday on points But as usual, we pounded you on the results and will be doing so for the forseeable future

I ask you pc911's to stop playing FPS 24/7 to delay your UD results and thereby increasing your points. Wot...Did I say that...yes I did Results rule.

    Cool Scott

What the Cat was implying is that if you use a 486 it will get you more points as it takes longer, however Team PC use "Results Returned" and as we know a T'Bird will crunch them numbers.

MSI K7T266 Pro2-Ru. Like Cats said, for stability. Quite of few of us run with this board. A word of advice. If you plan on getting a sound card, don't get crappy Live or Audigy for your Abit. Very bad results. I'd get the Philips Acoustic Edge from NewEgg. Best @#$%ing sound card on the market without all the marketing shit.

i had 3 ABIT boards, one after the other and they caused me many sleepless nights with lockups bsod's and general infant behavior..... i've moved pretty much everything to MSI K7T266 Pro2-Ru's and now nothing.... not a fart, belch, moan or hiccup.....

... i actually get paranoid that i've missed something because i've never seen these boxes crash since i switched to msi.

well said my brothers, and yes T-birds kick some serious booty. I am depressed though, I am down in boston for the night, and my package finally is dropped off in my house (locked up in my shed complements of my Fed ex driver) and I won't he getting home until tuesday night, so I have $500 just sitting there

At my wifes work they have about 30 p133-266 networked, and I am asking the main man to see if I can "borrow" them for some help. I hope so.
Vserl I did laugh at what you wrote in the guestbook, wife was like "who and what is that". I told her it's a man who is about to come on over and join the winning team
