I'm trying to run a copy of Red Hat 7.2 under WinXP using VMWare Worstation3 and I get the following error when I try a "startx" :

execve failed for /etc/X11/X (errno2)
giving up
xinit: No such file or directory (errno 2): unable to connect to X server
xinit: No such process (errno 3): Server error.

I dont know sh*t about linux so I dont know wether this is down to Linux or down to VMWare.. help !!
