    Missed the mark

    Microsoft's latest cumulative patch for Internet Explorer fails to tackle at least one of the problems it is meant to fix, and leaves a dozen reported security bugs unpatched.
    this is quoted from this article in the register today.
    Attackers could by using this flaw elevate privileges; hijack MSN Messenger; run script in the My Computer zone; and perform arbitrary command execution.
    It seems that they attacked the surface problem and didn't tackle the root of the cause. I do hope that someday Microsoft can get there stuff together.

    I installed cumulative patch yesterday,went to the MSN download page today.They had another patch for the things mentioned,I hope it fixes the bugs.One would think that MS could hire the best,but something sure is screwed up
