Ad-aware identifies and removes these surreptitiously installed applications - Spywares, adwares and trackwares. Using updateable "reflists," which are sort of like antivirus DAT files, Ad-aware scours your system--including registry and temporary Internet files--and looks for traces of recognized adware modules.
