Audio merger
Hi all,
I'm making an MP3 CD for my car and i'm putting one of my ministry of sound tranc nation CDs on there; there is however a problem i need help with.
If i record all the tracks from the original CD to MP3 and put them onto the the car CD, then between each track there is a skip for what ever reason. Seeing as this is a mix album, it's quite annoying.
One solution i tried was using a proggie called MP trackmaker. This joinned the individual MP3s together into one big file. This meant the CD player in the car wouldn't skip between tracks anymore however the proggie wasn't that good and so left small but noticible skips in the big merged file where it had merged the original MP3s.
Does anybody out there have a good proggie that i can use to merge MP3 or WAV files without the skip, or to record the whole CD directly into one big WAV?
While we're on the subject, could you recomend any good mixing software for when i come to put my own mixes together to go in the car?
