After reading this review, I'm sure most if not all current Swiftech and Alpha HSF owners will steer away from this big ass POS. It'll run you $99, it performs worst than a Swiftech (and PAL8045), and it crushes you CPU core. No thank you.

Yeah, I read that review. However, they are the first that I've heard of that have had those kinds of problems with it. So I don't know if it's common, or if they just weren't using it properly. I wouldn't base your decision on just their review though. People have undoubtedly cracked their cpu's using a Swiftech MC462. Doesn't make it a bad cooler, ya know what I mean?
Wait for a few more reviews to come out to get a broader picture of it and see if those issuse are common or not.
Laters. :rollout:

True. I'll give it 3 more reviews to make it an even 5. But the OC AU did make quite a few good points on the Zen's design flaw. In regards to the nickel plate being too small to make contact with the CPU pads, the reviewer could at least use a shim.

LOL, was just about to say. Now we'll have to wait for Hardocp or AMDMD's review, or DK if the bastard's lucky enough to get on the list of "freebie for cheap ass reviewers" train.
