I'm not keeping up with all the new HSFs out there but this is the first time I've seen this, maybe it's old hat recycled. The TAK58 is designed for CPU's up to 1.7Ghz while the TAK68 is capable of keeping a 2.1Ghz CPU cool.

looks interesting , how noisy is it? lurch

The site says 36db, here's the link for ya with the specs

not a bad little cooler... I like the fans on the side, would make excellent sense in my second system (where the PSU is over the CPU), shame I cant afford it really.

I wonder why they didnt put the 2 side heatsinks rotated 90deg so the air blows out both sides instead of just the top?
I would think more airflow is better.

does anyone know of anywhere in the UK that sells these ?

Do you think that this would be a better buy than the mcx370 which is also a clip cooler for the dual mp system helping friend build? , i know it'd be a heck of a lot quieter. sinc. lurch
sorry karak man, dont have an A for your Q, lurch

How did the Senfu work out for ya KK?
BTW, Globalwin...don't get me started..you all know my "love" for the most non-innovative heastink company

Lurch: You could be right, on a dualie board that would be 4 fans just for the chips plus the NB makes 5, could be a little noisy for sure.

The Senfu works pretty sweet, the only problem being that its too loud to let me sleep (43.3DBA - ouch!) so I'm trying to get my hands on a quieter fan for it (ordered one last week and they screwed up over my credit card) and when I get that back it's going back on my T'Bird 800. I thought about using it on the Duron but the positioning of the PSU is the problem - there is only about a 7mm clearance from the Cooler master atm - the Senfu simply wouldnt fit, and even if it did t would get zero airflow. One of these globalwins would do the job nicely - if they fit and I can afford one !

Lurchman, check out the Millennium G-Lite, it's a good performing, reasonably quiet, low priced HSF, about 10dBA quieter than the 370. Not quite the performance of the 370, but an excellent solution for a dually, in all the areas your looking for IMO; price, weight, size, performance, and noise
Check out a review here. There's also a review of the 370 here
