Ok, I've been gone a while w/ school and work, but also been spending time on the important things. Enjoy!

Painted inside w/ Metalic Chrome and outside with Metalic Blue Rustoleum and Metalic Silver Rustoleum paints. Gave it a nice look.
Last Pic. Inside may look a lil stuffy, but I still need to go back and straighten out the wiring. Also need to add lighting, so a lot of it will get cleaned up then.
Schweet! If it was in a competition it'd have a rosette stuck to it
Really nice looking. What's the noise level like with all those fans?
I wondered where you'd been![]()
looks GREAT!!!! have aone on me, wait have a few.
Looks great man! Love that painted PSU cage.![]()
Noise isn't too bad.
I mean it's no where near silent. But when I switch all the fans to 7v, it gets realllly close to silent. I usually leave it cranked all the way up, so I'm used to the nosie. Of course, w/ that 46dba Delta on the CPU... hehehehehehe
Im going deaf anywayz.
Sharp lookin case JBWhat kinda temps you getting??
Really nice JB, was also wondering about the temps, I like the color combo.
Currently, temps idle around 28°c and at full load go to around 40°. I'd prolly go cooler with a better HSF, but 40° is good for me. I especially like the constant breeze I feel now that I have all this fan power on my legs. Keeps me cool while workin/gamin

I like the back of your case JB! Like how one of the rear fan is mounted from the outside...don't know why I like it...I just do
And the PSU paint mod is sweet! So how much temp improvement did you get with the Chimeny Airflow?
nice work jb, so thats what those mods look like with taste and style, i did mine with union labor, but really nice man, sinc. lurch
Overall, I lost about 2-3° with the new chimney design, and I'm assumin thats' because my case temps dropped to near ambient/room temps. But i'm happy with itIt'll do me at least until I upgrade to a larger processor.
Ah kewl...you might get better results in you reduce the cable clutter near the top blowhole. Can't see too well because of the angles but it appears a little restricted?
Also how much cfm is your top fan pushing out?
Wow.
Totally missed that last question.
Hehehe
Top fan is rated for 68CFM, no idea what the 4 intakes are rated for. Began to wire up my case lighting last night. Also need to straighten up my cabling (as you already noted).
It's a midtower case, and just a lil tight, but I like it that way. Not too fond of those larger cases. But really like the looks of those cube cases. Thinking of building my next case from scratch. Probably a mixture of wood and Plexi. Should be a fun/interesting project ^_^
Aside from using a higher cfm in the top blowhole, i would try to clear the airpath to the top blowhole. Seems like your wires block alot of the path which leaves the heat nowhere to go![]()
Dookie:
I probably could! But my wife would kill me if I started pickin up chicks..

Are you gonna try and make te front of the CD drive match the rest of the case like you did with the floppy drive? It shouldn't be too hard on the slot loader.
MadDog:
EventuallyBut it's a new DVD Drive, so I kinda wanna wait till I'm sure I won't have to send it back before I go paintin it.. hehehe
Cool, i doubt you'll have any trouble with the drive. The slot loaders have less mechanical parts and are therefore much more reliable and quieter, not to mention cool as hell![]()
Yeah, I love it thus far.
I've always been hard on CD RomsSo far, I've burnt out 3 CD Roms and a CD Burner in the past 5 years
Of course.. the fact that at last count I had over 1,200 burnt CD's lying around MAY have something to do with the death of the burner.. (hehehehehehe)
This HP burner is still doin great.. Lasted me for the past year now. And this Pioneer slot load DVD rom is doing GREAT.
But I need to do some touch up painting sometime.. So whenever I get around to that, i'll probably do the covers for the drives too.
