    question Can I install Mandrake on RAID setup?

    Just trying to plan ahead here, building new rig for daughter and juggling stuff.

    Abit KR7A-RAID; 2 x 20Gb HDD's on RAID 0; HPT 370 controller, onboard.

    If I used Partition Magic 8.0 to set up a partition for Mandrake 9.1 would it have problems installing and running with the RAID setup?

    You shouldn't do. Just make sure that the kernel it uses has support for RAID and you should be fine.
