Tuffie is truly an angel now – 3574 days old

Well i called the hosp where Tuffie is this morn to check on how he was and the nurse informed me that he passed away this morn. Hate to give everyone such shitty news.

It isnt shitty news, it's news that Tuffie is in a better place, and he will never ever hurt again, never ever suffer again, never be hurt by insolent people.

Alot don't believe, but I do. I know that where he is now, it's warm, all earthly cares abated, and he really is in a better place now.

Tuff aka Robert Lindsey lost his long fought battle this morning. Today is a very sad day for all of us as Tuff was the consumate Ambassador of Friendship. As a newbie on another forum, I got to know Tuff first as someone helpful with my computer woes, but then as a friend. I consider myself very lucky to be part of his life.

He will be missed, and I will try to find comfort that he is no longer in pain.

I believe that too. I bet he is up there with his guitar and is singing. He told me he missed that very much since he wasn't able to sing since his throat surgery.

Like Bits, I'm sad at the loss of a friend, but happy he is in a better place. He had a lot of fun while he lived, and touched a lot of people in a positive way. I hope his family is doing ok.

I actually got the chance to talk to Tuff this week,before he went in the hospital.
He made me laugh alot.
I am so grateful I got the chance to even know him better.
He was a very caring man with a great outlook on life.
Wish I could of knew him longer.
Tuff is leaving taking a piece of my heart with him,but he is leaving me plenty of his.
I will miss him sorely,he was a great friend.

Having just lost a dear friend myself, I know how those close to Tuffie must feel. I only knew Tuffie through this forum and yet his passing still touches me deeply. Funny how our cyber friends turn out to be REAL people. RIP Robert Lindsey.

Bits, I think it would be great if the Forum could show it's respect with flowers or whatever. I will donate. This place was a big part of Tuffie over the last while.

Yes, and there will be a void here, not soon satisated, at his departure. I only hope he's setting up a VB board where he's at!

And yes, I want to send something for the board, and something personal, as he was so interested in talking to little Bits, and hopefully turning his life around. Tuf just never gave up on things, or people.
