NASA has successfully created a program that can interpret nerve signals and patterns of speech without the words being spoken. So far this new technology has accomplished a simple web search and is still under
development.

Through the use of button sized sensors underneath the chin and on top of the Adam's apple, a program can interpret unspoken words through neurological messages. The current testing is in a preliminary stage.

Other possibilities for this technology include speech for the mute, being able to talk to others without being overheard, and as mentioned above web searches without having to touch a computer.
