    Mouse Gone South

    OS XP All Sys OK..... No Mouse......Start up message...,.Primary IDE No 80 Pin Cable.... Its' there? I'm looking at it. Any help appreciated....

    Shut down the computer and check to make sure the mouse ps/2 connector is seated correctly. Doing so with the computer turned on can potentially damage the motherboard.

    Those connectors pop out pretty easily.
