    Knoppix 3.4 and scanner setup

    Pretty simple question, really.

    How do I set up my scanner in knoppix?

    After searching here it appears I might not be able to.

    It is a Primax Colorodo 600p. Will continue to search for a standalone program.

    They say Epson scanners are the best to have, for Linux. Most models are supported.

    Unfortunately this scanner isn't supported by the sane-project, however there is hope
    PXSCAN is a user space software for PRIMAX scanner connected to parallel port.
    Supported scanners:
    Primax D9600
    Primax COLORADO 600p
    Primax COLORADO 1200p
