OK, Guess I’ve milked this about as much as possible.

So, here’s the deal.

Lately we have lots of new members on our BBF Crunching Team and that’s a good thing, actually it’s a great thing.
We also have lots of members who have been around and doing this cancer research for a looong time and that’s a good thing as well.

For the last little while our fortunes have not fared as well as in past years, but I can see a change coming on.

When we started having all the troubles with UD and then the hassles caused by some false starts and wrong turns, a few of us, including me, had second thoughts for a minute there, a few even thought about quitting completely. Me too again.

Then we found the World Community Grid.
Some familiar, friendly faces started to reappear… the old Team Spirit began to reemerge and BBF started to kick a little butt again.
That my friends is an even better thing!

Now, for the past few weeks Buckfan1 and I have had a running discussion about what to do with all the Crunchers he has working for the CorrOfcFla UD Team (still Crunching UD & still a Sub-Team for BBF) with me arguing that he should change over to WCG and he holding back because he would loose many of them because he no longer has direct control or access to a lot of them. Then the folks at UD stepped up one more time, causing him lots of grief by making it just too difficult to turn in completed work units.
So, yesterday Buckfan1 and I joined forces again by combining our Crunchers under one name, TobaccovilleKAC. At this point we don’t know how many PC’s he will be able to switch over, but he will put WCG on as many as he is able to.
So… I started this thread by saying the Monster is Reborn and by now you may be thinking that I am speaking of my KAC sub-team, but as happy as I am about that turn of events that is not it.

The Monster Cruncher is BitBenderTech of course.
And it is being reborn in front of our very eyes!
Did you know that BBF is still #30 in the world on the UD charts even after all the troubles and turmoil of these past months.
Did you look at today’s chart that was posted by TJ??? And did you notice that we are already #386 in the WCG universe???
We have made it to the top 20 before and we will do it again. I expect us to be in the top 200 soon and then we’ll set our sites on the top100.

We all count in this effort, be it with just one PC, or a dozen and we all need to put our best effort into the task at hand, I know that we all will do just that.

Oh… those of you who have been kind of laying back because you already have several PC’s running WCG, like maybe 3 or 5 or 10, times up… if you want to hang on to your spot you need to get busy recruiting new Crunchers because KAC/COF be coming for you.
