Using AudioGrabber to record old lp's has been great except I need to depop, despeckle and decrackle the wave files before I convert to mp3's.
So far I have googled and can't find much.
Maybe some of you here know of one I could download.
Thanks

Go to www.download.com, Search for "noise reduction"
Also, I own Nero 6 Ultra. According to their website, Nero 6 Ultra and Nero 7 Ultra has a component "Nero Wave Editor" that says, "Internal Enhancement Library include: Band Extrapolation, Noise Reduction, Declicker, Filter Toolbox, DC-Offset Correction"
The Nero product is at:
Nero_Wave_Editor_3_Features
Nero_7_Ultra_Features
Thanks....Lighthouse. I will definitetly Check out download.com.
I have Nero Vesion 6, I think,. I have been using XP to burn cd's. Nero OEM Suit came on the PC and I haven't done much with it.
Hi Polar
Here is a link to a free and very good audio editing program called Audacity
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
It may appear a bit overwelming at first but i think this will be your best chance to really clean up your LP's.
Give it a shot, its free![]()

Thanks RacerX...The local school wants me to burn a few cd's of folk music from lp's as they no longer have phongraphs around.
So I will most definitely give it a go and post back how I like it.
