    Pepsi Syndrome Again!

My youngest grandchild is in the terrible two imitation stage, he wants to do everything I do. He has his own plastic PC tools, but he knows the difference and keeps trying to get into my real tools.

I got distracted and failed to watch him close enough, thus allowing him to pour soda into Frankie (switched off, whew!) and place stuff into the open case. Short of getting tv tuner or electronics cleaner (what me spend money?) any reciepes for cleaning corn syrup out of memory slots?
As I was, so I remain until he returns.

Umm.. Unless you go and get electronic cleaner you are fubar.

Even then, the carbonic acid does a number.... Good luck - I had a dog lift a leg on one here with the side panel off and it wasnt on or pugged in - no matter how much I cleaned and cajoled with the electronic cleaner - It was done. There is power from the battery on the board, and if that shorts it is toast. The little guy eventually got to walking and running good with jst three legs remaining

Sounds like time to strap the child to the front of the minivan as you drive to the electronics store - Tell him it's bungee-vanning - A new game - He has to dodge texas sized horseflies at 75 mph

Only to ensure the bonds used for wrists and ankles didn't cause chaffing...Prooper and judicious use of vaseline under the duct tape will see to that
