I see in the comments for the video they're comparing it to Win8:

I'd forgotten about that monstrosity. Even Ballmer the Tourettic Baboon referred to Bob as not a success (in other words, couldn't have been more of a disaster is they tried).

    Windows8 = Bob2
Power is something that should be given to those who need it to serve and withheld from those who seek it to rule.

    My life is slipping away
    I'm aging every day
    But even when I'm grey
I'll still be grey my way

It does sum things up rather well.

Pretty astute observation in my opinion.

Yes, that is cock on. Microsoft is making a play to seize control at these "crossroads".

It's obvious... look at the requirements to get a Windows 8 sticker on ARM. Must not be allowed to disable the signed OS check in the EFI bios, locking it to the OS it came with (Windows 8). This is not a platform that Microsoft had any hand in developing or promoting... they had no interest in it before and now they want to dominate it?

    Still not buying it.

Windows 8 Will Be a $39.99 Upgrade for XP and Above

Windows has always been pretty expensive compared to the competition, but Microsoft is taking steps to remedy that problem with Windows 8, rumored to be coming in the fall. From launch until January 31, 2013, you'll be able to grab an upgrade to Windows 8 Professional for only $39.99 as a digital download (or $69.99 on disc), which is significantly less than their current price of $119. The upgrade will work on any Windows system running XP and above, and comes with an Upgrade Assistant that will let you know if any of your hardware is incompatible. It still isn't as cheap as some of its competition, but it's definitely a step in the right direction from Microsoft, which we like to see. Hit the link for more information.

That is certainly a big chunk less than anything else they've put out since...I can't remember when...

So the cries of "We're not paying full price for THAT piece of shit!" have gotten through.

Even if it were free, it still couldn't be called an upgrade from anything, except maybe Windows ME..... no, not even that. At least Windows ME you could actually use, even if you had to reboot between tasks

The whole premise of Windows at its inception was multitasking. (simulated on a single threaded OS in those days, but that was the point)

Now that people are doing that, they want to go back to a one app in your face at a time approach, while lazily leaving open programs running in memory, but inaccessible in the foreground.

This is counter productive, and counter intuitive. While Windows 8 will have a modern kernel, with pre-emptive multitasking, WinME could fake multitasking better than Windows 8's user interface implements it for the user. I realize we're talking about two different concepts of multitasking here (at the CPU level and user interface) but you get my drift.
