GeForce 9600 GSO to GeForce 8800 GTS 512MB Mod Guide Posted By: Grogan Posted On 01-02-2009 05:40 PM
"3 years ago, ATI and NVIDIA graphics card line-up was not as complex as it is today. Many of their graphics cards were actually using the same GPU, so enthusiasts could mod their lower-end cards, using software or hardware methods, into higher-end graphcs cards. When ATI and NVIDIA began using many different GPUs for different product lines, graphics card modding fell out of favour because enthusiasts could only overclock their graphics cards to maximize their potential. However, a method for soft-modding an NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GSO into an NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS 512MB has been found. This mod instantly gives you a GeForce 8800 GTS 512MB card at half the cost!"

FSP Group Power Mod 700w Power Supply Posted By: Grogan Posted On 01-02-2009 05:33 PM
"The PSU offers a performance to cost value which is extremely helpful given the current state of the economy. At a $109.99 price tag, it's one of the more cost effective options currently available. The quad 12V power rails provide a decent amperage boost over previous FSP generations which cost a bit more making it an even better choice. Otherwise, the Power Mod 700 PSU is a good launch in the gamer and enthusiast market for FSP Group."

Most Wanted Games 2009 Posted By: Grogan Posted On 12-29-2008 09:08 PM
"2008 is very nearly over ? 2009, here we come. With the Xbox 360, Wii and PS3 all now firmly established, the flood of big exclusives is in danger of slowing to a trickle, yet there are still some huge titles on their way next year, including some massive sequels and a handful of exciting new properties. These are the games that we expect to thrill, move and entertain us in the year ahead."

Overclocking Intel's Core i7 920 Processor Posted By: Grogan Posted On 12-29-2008 08:57 PM
"We grabbed a new Core i7 920 processor off a retail shelf and decided to see how far we could clock it up. We want to give potential buyers an idea of what overclocking with the Core i7 is like, along with how much performance could be gained, how to deal with heat, and how power consumption comes into play."

Epson WorkForce 600 Multifunction Printer Posted By: Grogan Posted On 12-29-2008 08:53 PM
"Many people, myself included, have a small office in their homes. Within these cramped quarters, we must find enough room to stuff everything that we need. It's just not viable to have a separate printer, fax machine, and flatbed scanner. That's why small multifunction printers like the Epson WorkForce 600 are so important."

Zalman ZM460B-APS 460 W Power Supply Posted By: Grogan Posted On 12-22-2008 04:42 PM
"APS is the entry-level power supply series from Zalman, targeted to users that want a good power supply at an affordable price, featuring active PFC, 120-mm fan but no modular cabling system as other units from this manufacturer, what helps lowering the price from this series. We have already tested the 360 W model from this series, which achieved excellent results. Is the 460 W also a good product?"
