I noticed a window appear on my MSI based rig recently that had words to the effect of: 'Agent not installed properly'.

It was processing away and returning results OK, but then after a coupla days I noticed my points weren't actually going from that machine. In other words, I probably wasted two days :(.

I uninstalled & re-installed - all's OK now. So if you get that error message, you best check it out.

On a better note, one of my 13 year old twin daughters wondered what 'that thing dad was running on my computer' was, asked me about it, and I explained.

She's now very keen on the whole thing, checks the stats and makes sure everything's uploaded to UD OK when I'm not around. So I got me's an unofficial helper :)

Flops' little helpers! Cute.:p

Problem on MSI? You don't think this happens to MSI based system only right? Don't scare me now, you know I'll get mine running Friday night if all things goes on schedule.

Ah, must be some UD clich. Wouldn't worry about it. Don't see anybody reporting it in the forums. How many times has this happen to you again?

AS: It's the first time I've had that prob. As for the MSI, I wouldn't worry about it. Absolute joy to set up, running very stable. It's a K7T Turbo, bought it in May, got a Duron 750 @ 850 in it. I was almost gonna use it myself and let my daughter use the KT7 RAID. Almost :)

As for the fault, it's probably the result of my kidz' friends messing about with it when they stay over. Used to happen a lot, that, but less so as they get older.

Catman: Good to see you got it sorted :rotate:
