Well it had to happen...

In order to begin the installation of the agent on our PC systems I had to gain the acceptance and approval of all. I'm not one for forcing my views on others especially when I can use gentle persuasion. By changing my United Devices 'Think' Login from JeffTulley to the company name 'Media Command' I stand a better chance of selling the idea to our UK office. The next step is persuading the IT&T managers of our US and Aus operations to follow suit. Should be good for a few more devices if all goes well.

My only concern is the team name being a bit politically incorrect for a global company. I guess I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

At least you may be able to get a few more PC on the project by doing it this way. I'm working on a local internet provider just down the road.

Note : I've sorted out the keyboard for you and will pop it round tomorrow :)

Just spoke to the Aus IT&T mgr and he is happy to help as long as there is no security risk.

Excellent news. I wish I had a global company's IT equipment to play with. Looks like I'll have to make do with my ragtag fleet of old timer PC's.

It's all for a good cause.

That's todays word of the day...

If IT&T Mgr in Aus rejects idea he will force UK to withdraw. If this happens I'll pull the plug on media command user and login as The slayer with my 3 home PCs.

We'll have to wait and see...

If you succeed or fail, kudos to you for trying and being part of the team anyway. Nice one :)

So what was up with the keyboard then? ;)

PS/Edit: The name 'Panty Chasers'. We've had this problem before. Just 'cos IA is chasin' anything female that moves, he thought that was an apt name. My argument to stiff-lipped objectors was that I'm married but that I still like to chase the wife..... if you catch my drift ;) So, maybe that would appeal if you stumble across objections. Worth a try :)
